Sunday cruises in my Firebird, snorkling, making old people laugh, gardening, cooking, building puzzles, throwing bones, woodworking, making things with my hands, crocheting, beach volleyball, boating, throwing darts, shooting pool, bowling, tennis, golfing, softball, catching frisbee, collecting rocks & sea shells, holding hands with someone special, chanting Psalms( thank you Grandma Marie), meditation, photography, volunteerism, working out & walking on the beaches, playing with my Macaw & Akita, enjoying my family, going to concerts, writing, singing, reading..i have a million hobbies..and before i leave this great big world..i'd like to aquire a few more..like bungee jumping, scuba diving, driving a dragster, taking kickboxing classes, yoga, parasailing & skydiving!

My name is Lisa..welcome to my page! I'm originally from Pittsburgh..but for the past 25 years have made my home the gorgeous Outer Banks of NC. I have a million hobbies..the colors of the rainbow are my favorites..the beach is where I like to spend my days..I do not take no for an answer (once you get to know me..you'll see why)..if i accidentally tell you what to do.. you'll LIKE it *wink*..I get along with everyone (unless they can't get along with themselves)..love to make people laugh..always look at the glass as being half full & take nothing for granted. All sports are my favorites especially surfing & cycling. Flying kites & fishing are manditory..lol I'm a vegetarian for the most part (although seafood and chicken breast tenderloins find their way to my plate occasionally)..i love all music..singing is a habit( i'll marry a music man in my next life)..museums and coffee shops are cool hangouts. I love working out and walking on the beaches( many inspirations there)..writing is a deep passion..and when it comes to exploring new scenery..i'm game. What do I like to do for fun? Anything that's legal..or involves the lips of a sexy man! * Grand daughter of a lifelong AMA member..who lived to ride..and rode to live. Retired career Firefighter..i may return after the kids get a little older..they need a mom right now..lol I'm proud to be writing a childrens poetry series of books and two others as well. One being a compilation of poetry and quotes and the other an autobiography of sorts..involving my love of coffee. I have 2 poems that are currently published in anthologies as well. I do editing and proof reading for local publications..as well as write editorials. I'll be posting some of my works in blogs in the near future. I'm also involved with many charitable organizations..and help give support to 3 orphanages..by providing clothes..toys..school supplies. Life is good!
