There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She
hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always
there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see
the world, I will marry you.'

One day,
someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages
came off, she was able to see everything, including her
boyfriend.

He asked her, 'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The
girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The
sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected
that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life
led her to refuse to marry him.

Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.'

This is
how the human brain often works when our status changes.
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who
was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Today
before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't
speak.

Before
you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone
who has nothing to eat.

Before
you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone
who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today
before you complain about life - Think of someone who went
too early to heaven.

Before
whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who
walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on
your face and think: you're alive and still around.

TODAY I FEEL A DOOM,ONE THAT CRUSHES THE HEART AND MAKES IT FIGHT FOR ITS NEXT LIVING BREATH. WHAT BECOMES OF THIS HEART THAT HAS NO MORE DESIRES. ONE THAT HAS BEEN STRUGGLING INTO THIS TIME AND PLACE THAT HAS NO BELONGING.


YOU SAY I’M WRONG TO FEEL THIS WAY,AND SOME CONSIDER IT A SIGN OF WEAKNESS,BUT HAVE YOU WALKED MY FOOTSTEPS OR SEEN WHAT MY EYES HAVE SEEN? HAVE YOU FELT THE HOPELESSNESS OR DISPAIR,THE HEARTACHES OR ANGUISH.

OR WATCHED YOUR PEOPLE FADE AWAY ALONG WITH YOUR VERY EXISTANCE?
MANY MAY BE HAPPY WITH THIS NEW LIFE,BUT IT HAS BEEN PROVEN TIME AGAIN WE DO NOT BELONG INTO THIS EXISTANCE NOT AS WE WERE MEANT TO BE,ONLY AS THEY WOULD HAVE US. BUT MY HEART CANNOT LEARN TO BE HAPPY BY THIS DESTRUCTION OF MANKIND AND TO ACCEPT IT. IT ACHES FOR OUR PEOPLE WHO FOUGHT HARD TO KEEP US FREE SO WE COULD REMAIN AS WE WERE MEANT TO BE. IT ACHES FOR OUR CHILDREN WHO ARE DEFENDING THEMSELVES WHEN WE SHOULD BE DEFENDING THEM.OUR ELDERS WHO HOLDS THE KEY BUT HAVE BEEN DISPLACED AND FORGOTTEN,AND DISRESPECTED. THE TRADITIONS AND CULTURE THAT USE TO HOLD US TOGETHER TO STAND STRONG AND UNITED.




TODAY THIS HEART MOURNS IN REALIZING WE ARE ALMOST FINISHED. YOU CAN MAKE IT LOOK SO PRETTY AND POSITIVE, BUT THE FACTS DON’T LIE. FOR EVERY LANGUAGE YOU TRY TO SAVE 5 BECOME EXTINCT,FOR EVERY TRIBE YOU TRY TO PRESERVE,ANOTHER ONE DIES,FOR EVERY STAND YOU MAKE,HUNDREDS RUN TO BE ASSIMULATED. THIS WAS NOT HOW OUR LIVES WAS MEANT TO BE,TO LOOK ONLY TO OURSELVES FOR HAPPINESS INSTEAD OF EACH OTHER.




HOW DO I KEEP THIS HEART BEATING WHEN ITS TRUEST LOVE IS FOR OUR WAYS.THOSE DAYS ARE GONE AND WITH IT SO IS MY SPIRIT TO CONTINUE.I DO NOT BELONG INTO THIS EXISTANCE OF MAN,IT WAS NOT OUR WAYS. THIS IS MOTHERS DAY THATS TRUE BUT ONCE YOU ARE MOM THATS IT YOU ARE A MOM/I HAD A SON BORN MAY 10 ,1973 THAT FOR RREASONS THAT MOT MANY KNOW ARE UNDERSTAND HES NOT WITH ME , HIS NAME WAS ROBIN  MITCHELL.I WAS 8 1/2 MONTHS ALONG WHEN I WENT INTO LABOR AND MY BROTHER IN LAW WAS THE ONLY WAY I HAD TO THE HOSPITAL 30 MILES AWAY, MY HUSBAND WAS ON THE JOB IN DOWNTOWN ATL'GA. AND COULDNT GET TO ME OR ME TO HIM SO I WENT ON WITHOUT HIM , A LITTLE LATER  THE NURSE CAME IN  AND SAID WE'RE TAKING YOU TO THE DELIVERY RM WE CAN'T WAIT , THEY GAVE ME  A SHOT THAT PUT ME OUT AND WHEN  I  WOKE UP I WASN'T PREGANT ANYMORE  SO OF COURSE I ASKED ABOUT MY BABY AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS A FAKE PREGANCY!!! WELL TO MAKE  ALOOOONG  STORY SHORT WHEN THE OLD MAN GOT THERE  HE RAISED HELL  AND TOOK ME   TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL THAT SAID YES I HAD DELIVERED A BABY BUT OF COURSE THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CHILD , SO TIME WENT ON AND WE FOUND OUT [ A YR. LATER] THAT THEY DR[LOL] WAS BLACK-MARKETING BABIES, HE WENT TO PRISON FOR 4 YRS AND THATS ALL !! WE FOUND OUT THRU LOTS OF TRYING, CRYING, BEGGING AND PLEADING THAT WE HAD  SON 5 LBS THAT WAS BORN THAT DAY AND NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM , HE JUST DISAPPEARED, THE DR[COUGH COUGH] WON'T TELL ANYTHING BUT BUT I HAVE A 35 YR OLSD SON SOMEWHERE, ALL I CAN DO IS PRAY THAT IF SOMEONE WANTED HIM BAD ENOUGH TO BUY HIM THAT THEY HAVE BEEN GOOD TO HIM  , THIS IS FOR ALL THOSE MOMS WHO HAVE MISSING KIDS YES YOU ARE STILL MOMS!!!!!TO MY BOY ROBIN HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND I LOVE YOU , A VERY GRATEFUL WOMAN DIANE
