I'm a 63 year old single dad who's never been married. I'm an advocate for kids and for good parenting. My wonderful and very precocious 20 year old daughter, who lived with me for half of every week from the time she was an infant, has completed 3 years of college out-of-state, and is now back home ... teaching high-functioning autistic children.
I'm left-leaning, progressive, pro-active and a bit irreverent. I'm an activist, a fighter against injustice and I always speak truth to power. I believe in honest communication, humility, compassion and helping the helpless. I'm creative and resourceful, with a great sense of humor and varied and eclectic interests. I have a few talents, and a few skills, too. I'm passionate, easy to talk with, a good friend ... and FUN!
I'm far from perfect, but always open to self-improvement. I'm also open to developing a relationship based on friendship, mutual respect, understanding, trust and communication. Please drop a line and say "Hi!". ...... Thanks!!!

!! Spend most of my time out side ride all we can work in the yard ,going to festivals,bike nite's and rides. And we are still doing the DJ thing that keeps us busy as well.And Kirby still has his full time job and me I am still layed off most of the time . There is just so much to do here in Des Moines we just want to enjoy as much of it as we can before the snow flys. I havent forgot all my great friends here on BFH so thought I better take the time to check in and say HELLO !!Thinkin of ya xoxox gyps
