Several months ago Mike lost a longtime friend. Shortly after,  I decided what to get him for Christmas. But then we planned  to be gone 13 days on our trip back east for the holidays, so I told him his Christmas present would have to wait until we got back... sooooooo

meet Bandit. he's an eleven and a half week old shepherd/lab mix we adopted thru a no kill agency. He was the biggest of the litter, and I can say, he's a hoss. and soooo adorable.



 

Tools an bike stuff are nice, easy to buy, and fun... but a gift from the heart mean so much more. (besides, he already got a auto feed screw gun for his birthday )

I lost my 13 year old Golden last Sunday, Chew!  But oh.ohhh no....I'm not falling for that cute puppy!!!  hahaha...

Fuckin A, just like I always say, " the more people I meet, the more I love my dog"  of course being it is a puppy you'll have to watch out for those land mines that he'll be leaving for you in the night, nothing like puppy shit ooozzing thru your toes. Just thought I'd mention that Way to go kitten.

first thing he did was jump on Ginger, she told him who was boss lol. Bart (the cat) gave him a few good sniffs.
smart lil guy...doesn't just check out things at his level, he checks out things all around.  he's got A LoT of bounce to him.
suprisingly, he slept pretty quiet on the floor by the bed last night so we we're actually able to sleep ourselves. I think Ginger having her bed on the floor helped tho.

Its always worried me that Ginger is so small yet so fearless. not afraid of any dog, cat, or other animal. She's been maybe 50 feet from deer and even been nose to nose with a cow. only curiosity, no fear. must be the breed. but now we figure she's going to have someone to watch her back.
