Hey ya'll...its time to ride! usual deal...meet at CycleVisions at 10:00 am Sunday June 28th for a great day of riding with friends. If the weather is questionable then we'll just do a breakfast run (LOL) but if its good then we will ride the hell out of some of the best roads in San Diego. Come on out !



 

ah thanks  Johnny for the poster...and the recommend to go to RD's Cabin. It'll be a great day out there - supposed to be about 85'. Ready to ride!!!

steam bath and a ride !! hella hot out there today... not sure but somewhere between 95 and 100 - there was so much heat coming off my bike my thermometer was having a little trouble.

about made me want to join Teej in that little monkey-butt dance.

kick ass day though... great roads and even better people. boo ya !!

what a great day, ride and group this was...still smiling! (and looking forward to a nice 5 day weekend ahead to do more of the same!) As Johnny said the ladies came out for this one...good to see Cinda, Christine, Marie, Kim, & Ann riding, along with Teej, Steve,  Alex, George, Mike & Kitten, Mitch & Jeanine. Hell its been years since we rode with Cinda and Mitch from the old msc group and both showed up again on the same ride...kinda cool, and fun to see you both again. Kim glad to ride with you after all these years of knowing you online too! and you know I always love to share the road with ya Johnny. heh heh... I saw that huge bird make a dive bomb in front of you on the way home...your front tire is like a critter magnet as that sucker had to use everything he had to fly the hell out of there...LOL

Perfect weather starting out heading up the coast, and over some favorite back roads thru Rancho Sante Fe then it started to heat up about half way across Del Dios Highway. Made a stop at Nates Butt Farm to cool down. Nice weather again with cooler spots over route 76 before hitting the furnace along the desert rim on the S2 toward Borrego. Glad RD's is only a few miles down the road. Had a great burger, very fast, pleasant service too. Theyre remodeling parts and will have a full menu in a couple weeks...have to go check that out on a cooler day. Also free camping and a nice area for large groups to party so that will be a great location for some good times! 
yep it was an awesome day even thru the furnace.
