Hey Guys & Dolls,

I figured I'd take a minute and blog about this past weekend.

Well my weekend actually started last Wednesday. I have an odd work schedule. Once every month I get 5-day weekend. I love it, but I digress.

May as well move right up to Friday night. Met Tony and Duke over at Racine & Larime in Old Town for a cigar.    E-glide Doug showed up ! ( E-Glide back in the heazy !) 

 Always a fun relaxing time at R&L. Some fascinatingly eclectic  conversations if you just stick around long enough. 

So after I had a nice carmel skinned beauty and Tony chewed up that sun-grown we all rolled down to Shelter Island. Then up over the hill and down to OB for some pizza and a cold beer. 

Hitting the streets with a 3 to 1 bagger ratio.  Boo-Ya !!

Met up on Saturday morning for the ride with American Harley Rider. Huge event. Lost count of all the bikes and the people.

I did see Duke and Tony though. We pretty much stuck together on that ride.  Strength in numbers ya know ?

Had a great ride...had to start with a quick run up the 15. Got off by the Lawrence Welk Village and turned off on Circle R Road until till it twisted and turned into West Lilac Rd. Then on on up into Fallbrook. Had a great time riding De Luz Canyon. That road kicks ass !!!  Still very little water in the normal slippery areas. Decent traction through the water...but I still hate those fucking water spots all over my pipes and what not.

Stopped for a free lunch at Quiads Harley in Temecula. While I was there I picked up what could possibly be the coolest fucking accessory ever for my bike. Next time you see me on the road I will show you what it is...

Then on up the Ortega Highway and stopped at Hell's Kitchen for another cold beverage. We're we really doing 105 on the freeway ? The temptation to show off in front of that long train of HOG riders ? Trying to cool off in the intense inland heat ?  Whatever...it was fun.

Then yada yada yada we took the freeway home.

Then Sunday there was another American Harley Rider ride.

Way overslept on Sunday morning. Woke up, called Tony to give him the 411. Got ready as fast as a I could and roared up to Del Mar...probably a good 40 minutes late. Cool group that they are they waited....I showed...we rolled.

Made a good ride out of getting up to the new Santa Ysabel Casino for some sort of "welcome bikers" event.

It was pretty freakin weak but hell, they showed they want the biker crowd out there. ( even motorcycle enthusiasts are welcome  ) That place is pretty cool but it's small. They do have a bar...oh yea and a twisty steep road getting out.... could get interesting.

Short day on Sunday...rode home early to watch some football and to see the Chargers get their asses handed to them later in the day.
