&nb sp;   ~ Dreams ~

As your morning brings forth light

it casts away the dark of night.

For in the twilight as you sleep

your dreams reflect emotions deep.

They bring you back in place and time

where open hearts and love did find.

Your soul it guides you through those dreams

 and takes you places never seen.

A place in heart so far away

within these dreams you long to stay.

Filled with rainbows colored light

they cast away the shadowed night

Journeys taken do unfold

reflect in time the songs of old

Places gone , thoughts do miss

the feeling of a lovers kiss

And gentle touch in which you find

brings forth peace, solace to mind

But in these dreams, time does erase

and takes you to a different place

Somewhere in life you've never been

a flower garden never seen

It's colored beauty full of light

reflects to darkness in the night

The shadows cast on lovers bloom

within the garden suffer doom

And as you touch the petals soft

remind you love is never lost

Within the garden dreams do weep

and rain upon the flowers keep

The tears do make the garden bloom

and wash away the roses gloom

As thy hand does touch the thorn

the heart does bleed from love thats scorned

Then within your dreams of night

a warmth of hand, a new delight

It covets every thing thats seen

wipes the blood where thorn has been

Leads you to thy lovers lips

to taste the blood of fingertips

And as your heart it's nectar flow

Love drinks it in and then you'll know....

That, when in dreams you are asleep

another wants your love to keep.
