Ive quit smokin!
Posted On 11/11/08 @ 07:01 am by Jeanine

Hi all!
I hope that this finds you all doing well, Remembering the veterans that gave their lives to help keep our country free, and to the ones who are overseas right now fighting a war that I presonally think should have been over a long time ago.
Things are goin good here, yesterday I went and was hypnotized, and did it to quit smoking. So things so far are going good. My hypnotist gave me a cd to listen to for the first 30 days, and I have it on my mp3 player. Plus I have some relaxing tunes on my mp3 player, and have told the husband, even though he is feeling like shit, not to mind my emotions for the first couple of weeks, because I have quit smoking.
Yes this is the first time that I have tried a hypnotist, and I did it for a very good reason, because Rick's health isnt real good at all, and in fact he cancelled his one appointment, because he couldnt even get out of bed to make it to the living room. He has an appointment later this week with the primary care doc that he was suppose to go and see on monday.
I have an appointment with my psychatrist today, and I am goin to let her know that I have been hypnotized to quit smoking, and I am goin to talk to her about getting something before I take off for the airplane flight to San Deigo on the 20th of December when Rick & I head out for Sunny, Beautiful California!
I dont know too much else, so I am goin to close this for now, ya'll take care, and I will talk with ya'll soon!
~Peace, Love, Hugs, & Happiness to you all!~

This is an update:
Ive been a naughty girl and went back to smoking! I know, shame on me! But after I get back from California, and after I have my surgery, I am going to go back to the therapist and be hypnotized again! UGH! This is the worst thing that I have tried to kick since being on drugs 10 years ago! I think kickin the drug habit was alot easier than kickin this habit!
I will let everyone know how things go. Rick has been 1 month free of smoking...and I am so proud of my husband for kicking this bad habit, and not hollering at me about it! I respect him totally, and go smoke in another room, if I really need one.
