I have been reading some poems by a woman here who writes about God. I believe she has been given a gift by Him and I am so thankful for her sharing it with all of us. One does not need to be a religious nut or fanatic to appreciate her words. Sometimes in life we all lose grasp of why we are here, what our purpose is. We get caught up in everyday life, wordly things, our problems, and we lose touch. After some traumatic events in my life, her poems have touched my heart and mind and made me stop and ponder what God has planned for me. He is trying to talk to me and I have not been listening. He has been trying to direct me yet I have been choosing to go my own way. Maybe I am to blame for some of the events that have happened. If I had only listened. I am not a religious nut, nor do I believe I must sit in church to have a relationship with Jesus and God, but I am spiritual and believe I have a connection that is between He and I. I believe He has allowed some things to happen to bring me back to Him. Yet, He has been there with me through it all. He is allowing me to fall, to take my own path, but He is close and waiting for me to listen to Him. I am ready to listen. I cannot do it on my own. Only He knows what he has planned for me and if I listen I am sure it will be all I could ask for and more. So, God, I am listening...please speak to me loud and clear!
