First of all I would like to thank everyone for the gifts ya' sent me and the well wishes and comments you sent and I do apologize for not being able to answer right away. But right now it's not about me it's about my dad. I was tryin' to figure out how to send this to all my friends on this site and this is the only way I knew how. My dad was in the ER last night and I didn't get home until after 8:00 myself. My dad has been battling cancer for almost a year now and the X-rays showed that the lymph node adjacent to his heart on the right side is cancer and it is also growing into his throat. They sent him home last night with some stronger antibiotics and something for pain. He had a procedure done in July to get rid of the cancer that was in his right lung, his left lung is completely gone. They couldn't put him to sleep but could only sedate him because he was so week he wouldn't have made it. They had to go up under his right arm and with a wire and they didn't know until they started the procedure that it had grown into his chest wall cavity. They had to zap the cancer and Thank God when they did a PET scan it showed that the cancer was gone but another spot had showed up and sure enough it had grown bigger and it is cancer. It's very hard and not easy on our family watching our dad go through so much pain and it is especially hard on my mom. They've been married for 48 yrs. this past July. The only thing I know to do is to ask all of you to remember my dad and mom in your prayers.
