I have bought an item at a yard sale, only to have that person come to me a few days later and ask for more $$ because they screwed up the price (a fellow antique dealer had put the item in to her yard sale)...so I paid the extra $$. Course I coulda said go eat dirt bitch but I would have felt badly for cheating the man out of his $$ if I had.

Well, one can always go back and ask if the new owner wanted to sell it back. It would be up to the new owner to decide whether or not to sell it back. Most times, once a sale is made, unless it is damaged in someway and needs to be returned/exchanged, it's a done deal. Period. End of story. phhhhfft.

well wolf first it would make me wonder why they sold it in the first place....then i would probably tell em where the door was...

Never had it happen to me, but if they wanted it back bad enough, I'd double or triple what I pd fer it & if'n they didn't like my deal, I'd tell 'em to hit the phuckin' road & git off my property or they'd feel distinctively what buchshot feels like, if they didn't like my deal.
Then again, unless it's a family member or a Bro, then I'd give it back at the price I pd. I've never had a yard sale, I'd always see if a Brother needed or could use it 1st... then I'd juss donated the chit to a 2nd hand store or the salvation army.
