You're not the only person stupified by McCain's choice for veep.  He had some excellent options, and instead ... he gambled.  Risk taking can be great, but I'm not sure I'd want my pres being so impulsive or unpredictable.  I think Sarah Palin will implode before election day, as she's got several serious issues that will be scrutinized in the days and weeks to come.  Not the least of which is "Troopergate". 

If, looking back on these exchanges you decide that mentioning how many guns you own (all legal .... of course) ain't a great idea.  I'll be happy to delete this posting.  I'd keep my graphic and re-use it on another blog.  Ya know that there are folks that cruise these sites just lookin' for ........... anything.

Thank you for the info. My comment was directed by your "Gawd, am I glad she never shot Bambi." I happen to love guns and own more then a few. I do agree with your views on hunting. I also now its just not my kind of thing to partake in personally. Now as far as Sarah even being involved in this election Im beyond appalled that she was even considered let alone be running mate. That move by the Republicans still has me stupified as to what the hell were they thinking. And yes I am a real piece of work

"but dont knock others for it as a means of survival"????  Oh, I'm glad you don't knock others who hunt as a means of survival.  I wasn't doing that, either.  If you noticed, there were no words to suggest any such thing in my post.  In case you didn't pick up on the blatant, conspicuous clue (the words in the image), the woman in the image is Sarah Palin, presumptive Republican VP nominee.  Call it my wild guess, but I doubt she needs this caribou for "survival", the image was posted in hopes that a viewer might research about where Sarah Palin stands in relationship to hunting, to animals and to protecting animals.  She has opposed keeping Polar Bears on endangered species lists, she's re-introduced bounties on Wolves, and she advocates aerial hunting.  You're really a piece of work, especially considering you had the mini-juevos to call me a "smartass" because of my comments on your postings.  BTW, the animal in the pic is a caribou ... but I hope you never run into a talking deer, 'cause I'd hate to have to see you blow its head off.  I expect you have quite an arsenal to back up your jive.  I'm not anti-hunting.  I've rifle and bow hunted for food (not survival) in Utah, Montana, Colorado, Idaho and Wyoming ... but shooting animals from aircraft isn't "hunting" ... it's easier than shooting fish in a barrel.  It's not fair, it's not ethical.  I doubt you'd be interested, but if anyone reading this may be interested ... please do a little Googling about Sarah Palin and "hunting".  Here's only one webpage:
