Title: trip to Nevada

Blog Entry: well just got back from a trip to Fernley, Nevada. we left town and headed up hwy 58 and then i think to 395 til we found 447 it took us to Fernley without going into Reno. man it was hot there and my oregon body was sweating all its Oregon moisture outta me so fast i couldn't drink enough. saw awesome sunsets, a bald eagle playing in a field and he must of known that no one was taking (or could take pictures as there was no shoulder at all) pictures so it was being very theatrical. we saw white pelicans in Tule Lake and bikers going through Virginia City, Nevada creating a new image of an old way of life. instead of horse and riders there was iron horses and riders. we went through Lava Bed national Monument on the way home and wished we had more time. all in all it was fun and was nice to get away from my area.
