Blog Entry: Accor ding to a news repor t, a certa in priva te schoo l in Washi ngton was recen tly faced with a uniqu e probl em. A numbe r of 12- year- old girls were begin ning to use lipst ick and would put it on in the bathr oom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipst ick, they would press their lips on the mirro r leavi ng dozen s of littl e lip print s. Every night the maint enanc e man would remov e them, and the next day the girls would put them back. Final ly the princ ipal decid ed that somet hing had to be done. She calle d all the girls to the bathr oom and met them there with the maint enanc e man. She expla ined that all these lip print s were causi ng a major probl em for the custo dian who had to clean the mirro rs every night (you can just imagi ne all the yaw ns from the littl e princ esses ). To demon strat e how diffi cult it had been to clean the mirro rs, she asked the maint enanc e man to show the girls how much effor t was requi red. He took out a long- handl ed squee gee, dippe d it in the toile t, and clean ed the mirro r with it. Since then, there have been no lip print s on the mirro r. There are teach ers .. and then there are educa tors.
