Blog Entry: Good Morning to all of you Funhouse Fans! I hope that this finds you all doing well...that you had a great evening last night, and that you are enjoying your time here at the Funhouse! I have noticed so many new members on the site, and I have tried to stop by & give them a Welcome to the Funhouse! Not alot happened with Rick & I last night, we did have a friend of our's stop in. Then the 2 guys played a couple rounds of cribbage, and we all talked about the upcoming hayride that our friends are going to have this weekend! It sounds like a great time, and I had asked our friend if they wanted us to bring anything along, and he just told us that if we wanted something different to drink besides the beer and mulled wine that they are going to be serving, that we would have to do that. I am looking forward to this, because it has been a while since I have been on a hayride! When I was younger, I used to go to Illinois alot, because thats where my grandparents lived, and every summer it seemed like us grandkids always ended up coming to their house at just the right time, because Grampa was putting hay up in the mow (Sp?!) It was even worse on me, because I was badly allergic to hay, but I always pitched in to help out, and by the time that it was time to quit, my mom would have me get out of the clothes that I was in, and hose me off with COLD water, so that I would get all the stuff from the hay outta my hair so that my allergies wouldnt go crazy the rest of the night! After our friend left, I finished up a 8 page letter (well it would be 16 pages since it was on both back & front!) to a real good friend of ours that is away from home right now! He had sent us a handkerchief that he had made for us, now I just have to go out, buy an iron, and some starch to spray on the back of it, and hang it up in a picture frame for all the rest of our friends to see it! He had said that in his letter, that he has some other things for us, but he had to get copies made first. I know I cannot wait to see what he has to send us! It had been a while since Rick & I had heard from him, and so I made a couple phone calls, and it just happened that he called us back on the day that I was being released from the psych unit up in Des Monines, and not having my phone, we missed the call! But other then that, things are going really well for Rick & I. Rick wasnt feeling too well yesterday, so he did alot of sleeping, and I did a few things around the apartment, without trying to wake him up, and I even took a nice long nap with him, and the 3 damn cats that seem that they had to be in the bedroom with "Mom & Dad!" I have a lil bit of a busy schedule ahead of me today! I am suppose to be getting our new sofa this afternoon, so I am going to have to do some vaccuming. I am trying to keep the war against the fleas in our favor now that we have gotten rid of the old couch, and I have bombed and sprayed the apartment with some stuff that is suppose to help kill the pesky lil critters! It seems so far we have won this war....but I am still not taking any chances with a few stray ones left in the apartment! Not with this nice sofa that is coming into our apartment! Lets see...what else do I have to do today?? I know that I still have a few things that need to go to the laundry room, so that I can wash it either later today or tomorrow, or this weekend, whenever I feel like getting around to it! I have been pretty busy with catching up on laundry, because I have let all the stuff fall behind for some stupid reason (Maybe one fact is that I HATE doing laundry! And my back has been givin me some problems from where my ex-boyfriend would kick & stomp on me while he was being abusive to me 11 years ago) I am also in the middle of writing to another friend of mine who had moved away from Chariton, and now lives in Omaha. She is always so busy with her job, or going back & forth to the dr's because she is having problems with her liver. So it seems just easier for me to sit down and write a letter to her, then try to call her! I talked to one of my friends from here in Iowa yesterday afternoon, and she was asking questions about how things were going, so I asked her if someone had told her about my suicide attempt almost 3 weeks ago, and she told me that another mutual friend had talked to her, and mentioned it. She seemed more worried about me, then about what was goin on with her life, and I know that she is having a very difficult time right now, going thru a divorce, tryin to raise 6 kids, and workin 2 full-time jobs that she loves to do so much! I really do not understand how this woman has not gone over the bend, except for she has some very loving family members and friends that do care about her, and are always there for her if she needs some kind of help! Just about like my wonderful friends here at the Funhouse....Many of you all know who you are...But I can never stop saying Thank You for being the wonderful people that you are, and that I would be so lost if I didn't have this site to come to every day, and get some beautiful graphics left by some of my most wonderful friends! Speaking of that...I know that I have like 62 friends, and I never dreamed that I would have that many again, but I am Thankful for your friendship, and I will hopefully get a message to your guestbook here sometime in the real near future! Well...its a lil bit after 4 in the morning here in Iowa, so I think that I am going to start working on those guestbooks that I need to sign, and to reply back to any messages that have been left for me! Have a Terrific, Tasty Thursday! I really hope that you all get to enjoy the beautiful autumn weather that is around us (except for Ducky, who is gettin snowed on up there! Just remember that if ya throw at sn0wball at me, I will retaliate, and when I retaliate, I do it very evilly! LMAO!) I will talk to you all again soon, I hope that you all enjoyed my rambling about simply nothing at all, specially since it had absolutely nothing to do with motorcycles!
